My Business Cards!

Hi guys!

This is the first time that I'm posting from my phone because I'm out at the moment. So, if it looks terrible when I check then I apologise for that.

So I ordered some business cards online and they came today. :-) it's so exciting! I used the 'design your own' template so I'm really loving them. The front has my details & the back says: "to get something you've never had, you must do something you've never done." They also feel really soft & have a sheen to them, even though I just chose the standard ones.

What do you think? Is it cheesy to have a motivational quite on the back?
I would love to get some feedback about them but I love them anyway! :-)

Boosting your Business

Hi guys,

I'm going to write a quick post before bed just to let you know that I haven't forgotten about you.
I was thinking today about how to network and meet new people without bombarding everyone with information or end up sounding like a crazy sales person. So, I have signed myself up for a few meet up groups and for some upcoming events. I have used the meetup website which allows you to find people who are looking for business ideas, want to meet people or just want to give helpful advice. Ultimately, you can find ALL kinds of groups on here, not just business orientated ones.

I have managed to bag myself some tickets to the 'Entrepreneurs in London' event happening on the 11th Feb, but I have also signed up for a smaller group of female entrepreneurs just to share ideas. I'm really excited about the two because they are completely different. One is on a large scale of 300 people and the other is an informal restaurant environment with just 20 people. I will be reporting back on both and letting you know how it went.

I have also ordered some business cards online, which I am really excited to receive. I have never in my life owned business cards because I've always worked for other people. I feel like I'm learning so much and changing my career prospects for the better, in turn, boosting my confidence dramatically.

Does anyone else have any tips on how to boost your business, networking, or even advice on where the best place for buying business cards is?

I would love to hear from you,
Goodnight for now
Martha

Arbonne Product Launch

Ok so, I know it's been a week since my last post and I'm sorry for that. My week has been jam packed with meetings and networking, networking, networking! :-)

This week I went to a Product Launch in which the National Vice Presidents of Arbonne presented the business opportunity to guests and they also launched the new aromatherapy range, which I'm very excited about! But, I'm not going to rant and rave about the products because that's not what my blog is about. I just felt so inspired to blog about what a fantastic evening I had surrounded by all these successful and positive people who are part of the Arbonne family. It was the biggest event I had been to so far and there were 1000 people there. Throughout the presentation, all the Arbonne Mercedes drivers were asked to stand up and take to the stage. I got so excited because there were so many of them and I just thought, I can't wait to be one of them.

Here is the photo:

After this presentation, I felt so motivated and it gave me the drive to really push myself to be the best I can be. Spending time with people who also feel the same way is one of the best things about working in this business. They also informed us that all the National Vice Presidents had recently returned from a trip to Maui (slightly jealous) which was all paid for by Arbonne for their hard work. Most of these people started off as average people, just like me, and thats the most inspiring thing.

So, I will now be taking these warm feelings of excitement and keeping them with me every time I meet someone new who is interested in learning more about building a business that could ultimately change their lives.

For inspiration, have a look at the Maui video.

Anna Gunn wears Arbonne to the 2013 Golden Globe awards.

I just wanted to take some time out to admire Anna Gunn who wore Arbonne makeup to the recent Golden Globe awards. For those of you who don't know her, she is an actress from the AMC series 'breaking bad'. All her makeup was Arbonne and she wears it really well, looking glam but naturally beautiful.

All Arbonne products are Vegan friendly and free from animal fat, human fat and mineral oil, which means that in events such as these where (as we all know) the need for slightly a bit more makeup than usual isn't going to harm her skin.

If you like Anna's look then why not have a look at the following link for suggestions as to what she was using.

Me and My Arbonne is Up and Running!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you're all well. Welcome to my new blog, Me and My Arbonne.

I am super excited about getting this blog up and running because it is the first step towards networking with people who I might not have necessarily met in a real life situation. As some of you may know, I have just set up a network marketing business with a health and wellness company called Arbonne and my blog is pretty much a way for me to document how I am getting on, give people more information about Arbonne and also share this fantastic opportunity with everyone. I have struggled slightly with how to layout my blog because I don't want you to think that I am being pushy or scam you in any way. My aim is simply to get the word out about Arbonne. I have looked for a legitimate business opportunity pretty much all my life but I have never known how, or had a great amount of money to invest in anything. If I had seen a blog like this years ago then I would have been ecstatic!

Anyway, I will be updating you regularly with Arbonne news, photos of my team and their successes, but generally just keeping a little diary of how my business is going. I hope I inspire some of you but at the least, just inform you and make you realise that in hard economic times like these, there are other options for those who are willing to listen and open their minds.

Thanks for reading,

Martha.
